Teaching Jobs - Media Teacher

Job Description:

Develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives specific for teaching Media subjects at Middle to Secondary grade levels. Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment. Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problems. Attend professional development workshops and educational conferences in order to maintain and improve professional competence. Establish and enforce rules for class management and student behaviour. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate student progress.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Media or related Subjects from a recognized University in the US, CA, AU, NZ, UK, ZA (Preferably form US due to American Curriculum)


• Must have excellent English communications skills

• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years teaching experience at Middle-High School grade levels

• Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment

Monthly Salary Range:

Competitive TAX FREE Salary range from AED 11,000 to 13,000 depending on qualifications, years of experience


  • Furnished Studio Apartment OR AED 50,000 AED Housing Allowance yearly depending on family status. Released in 2 payment cheques

After the second year a one bedroom furnished school apartment

Health Insurance Coverage:

100% medical insurance for employee only. Candidate is responsible for dependents

Annual Air Tickets:

Annual return Air Fare for employee only. Candidate is responsible for dependents

Relocation air ticket also provided at beginning and end of contract for employee only


In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year

Dependant School Fees:

Staff children discount is 100% for the first child and 50% for the second child attending same school as employee

Visa & Medical Check Fees:

VISA fees and Medical check done in the country are paid for by the school for Employee only

End Of Service Benefit:

Receive 21 days basic salary for each full year of service at end of service

Plus economy air ticket to place of permanent residence according to Labour Law of the country for employee only

Contract Period:

1-2 year contract – renewable

Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements
