Job Description:


For an International School using the American Curriculum is required to support the VP of Elementary School and colleagues to ensure creativity, innovation and the use of appropriate new technologies to achieve excellence

Demonstrate the principles and practice of effective teaching and learning, especially for KG grade levels

Assist with Operational matters related to all Elementary grade levels

This position will also have a teaching role so experience in KG is required

Maintain a consistent and continuous Academy-wide focus on student achievement, which reflects the agreed vision and values of the school.  Use data and benchmarks to monitor progress in student learning and support and facilitate colleagues in this

Participate in the monitoring, evaluation and review of classroom practice and promote improvement strategies

Manage conflict effectively, seeking positive outcomes and communicate with parents to attain this

Participate in planning, allocation, support and evaluation of work undertaken by teams and individuals, giving professional leadership and delegating tasks as appropriate

Attend professional development workshops and educational conferences in order to maintain and improve professional competence

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Education from a recognized University in the US, CA, UK, AU, NZ, ZA (due to Visa restrictions)
  • Master Degree in Education or Leadership from the same countries as above
  • Must have excellent English communication skills and able to pass an IELTS score of 7
  • Bilingual in English and Arabic a preferred requirement

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience at KG grade levels with a North American Curriculum (Preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Assistant Principal or similar Leadership position
  • Experience using the North American Curriculum
  • Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment

Monthly Salary Range:

TAX FREE Monthly Salary AED 18,000 to 22,000 depending on qualifications and years of experience


School Accommodation provided or Housing Allowance of AED 65,000 yearly


Health Insurance Coverage:

Provided for employee only

Annual Air Tickets:

Annual Return Air Fare for Employee

Relocation air ticket also provided at beginning and end of contract for Employee


In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year

Dependant School Fees:

100% discount for first child and 50% discount for second child attending same school as employee

Visa & Medical Check Fees:

VISA fees and Medical check done in the country for Residency Visa are paid for by the school for Employee only

End Of Service Benefit:

Receive one month Basic Salary for each full year worked at end of service as per Labour Law of the country

Contract Period:

3 year contract - renewable

Paperwork Requirements:

Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements
