Teaching Jobs - Psychology Teacher

Job Description:

Develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives specific for teaching Psychology subjects at Secondary grade levels. Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.

Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problems. Attend professional development workshops and educational conferences in order to maintain and improve professional competence. Establish and enforce rules for class management and student behaviour. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate student progress.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Psychology from a recognized University (UK preferred for British Curriculum)


• Must have excellent English communication skills

• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues


Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years teaching experience at appropriate grade level

• Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment



Monthly Salary Range:

TAX FREE Monthly salary ranging from QAR 12,000 to 13,000 based on qualifications and years of experience


Furnished 1 - 2  bedroom apartment depending on family size. 
Utilities paid, up to QAR 300 for Single and QAR 500 for married

Health Insurance Coverage:

Medical insurance for employee only. Candidate is responsible for dependents



Annual Air Tickets:

Annual air fare for employee and 1 dependent only

Relocation air ticket also provided at beginning and end of contract for employee only and 1 dependent




Annual summer vacations, winter and spring breaks, all government and religious holidays, sick leave, bereavement leave, and personal days are paid for, in accordance with Labour Laws, school policy and procedures


Dependant School Fees:

100% discount for 1 child attending same school as employee 

Visa & Medical Check Fees:

VISA fees and Medical check done in the country for Residency Visa are paid for by the school for Employee only


End Of Service Benefit:

Receive 21 days Basic Salary for each full year of service. Plus economy air ticket to place of permanent residence according to Labour Law of the country



Contract Period:

1-2 year contract – renewable

Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements
