An educational organization that focuses on teaching applied technology rather than academic subjects is seeking Petroleum Engineering Teachers. Develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives specific for teaching specific subjects at Secondary grades 10 to 12 levels. Able to teach in a hands-on, practical environment. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment. Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioral or academic problems. Must also establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects. Distribute, collect and grade homework assignments, tests and projects and attend staff meetings.
• Bachelor Degree in Science with Petroleum related subjects from a recognized University
• Master Degree in Science with Petroleum related subjects
• TEACHING QUALIFICATION FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA and Scandinavian countries is an asset
• Must be Native English speaker or near
For non-native speakers IELTS level 7 must have been passed
• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience at Secondary or Vocational College grade levels in Subject area
• Minimum 3 years Industry experience in the field of specialty
• Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment
Competitive TAX FREE Salary range from 9,000 AED to 13,500 AED depending on qualifications (Master required for higher salary)

Housing Allowance for Singles is 9,280 AED

In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year
School Tuition of 80,000 AED per family, maximum 40K per child
This allowance to be used for tuition fees, exam fees, text books, uniform, school transport – (all must be official invoices from the school)
VISA fees and Medical check done in the country are paid for by the school for Employee only
Receive 21 days basic salary for each full year of service. Plus economy air ticket to place of permanent residence according to Labour Law of the country
