Job Description:

Develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives specific for teaching Computer Science subjects at Secondary grade levels 9 to 12. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment. Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problems. Must also establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects. Distribute, collect and grade homework assignments, tests and projects and attend staff meetings.

Some Topics to be covered are:  Python, Java, C++, CCNA, CCNP

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Computer Scence from a recognized University in the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA or Scandinavian countries (Due to Visa restrictions)

Master Degree in Computer Science an Asset

TEACHING QUALIFICATION an asset from one of the following countries: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA or Scandinavian countries

•Excellent English Communication Skills and could pass an IELTS at level 6.5 before joining

• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues

  • Python, Java, C++, CCNA, CCNA 

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years teaching experience for Computer Science at Secondary grade levels 9 to 12

• Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment

 

Monthly Salary Range:

Competitive TAX FREE Salary range from 11,500 to 13,000 AED depending on qualifications and years of experience

Housing:

Housing Allowance:  AED 7,400 to 11,600 per month, depending on on marital status and campus location

New staff will stay in an apartment/hotel for the first 29 nights while they look for accommodation

Health Insurance Coverage:

Provided for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children

Annual Air Tickets:

Cash Allowance given based on home country location for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children Relocation air tickets also provided at beginning and end of contract

Relocation amount of 20,000 AED given upon arrival, to be used at own discretion (Half upon arrival and half after the probation period)

Leave:

In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year

Dependant School Fees:

School Tuition of 80,000 AED per family, maximum 40K per child) This allowance to be used for tuition fees, exam fees, text books, uniform, school transport – (all must be official invoices from a UAE school)

 

Visa & Medical Check Fees:

Fees will be paid for employee only. Employee is responsible for fees for dependents

 

End Of Service Benefit:

For each full year of service, school will pay 21 days of monthly Basic Salary, according to Labour Law of the country

Open Contract - renewable yearly

Paperwork Requirements:

Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements.
