Job Description:
Nursing & Emergency Health Trainers needed for the following specialties:
- Critical Care
- Dental Nursing
- General Nursing
Objectives: Makes a significant contribution to all activities of the organizational unit or interdisciplinary area and plays a significant role within his/her profession or discipline.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures, seminars, and clinics according to the study plans in specific curriculum
- Supervise student laboratory and clinical work
- Evaluate and grade student class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and papers
- Keep abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences
- Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction
- Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics related to field of study
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and hand-outs
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions
- Supervise undergraduate or graduate teaching, internship, and research work
- Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records
- Advise students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues
- The conduct and supervision of tutorials, practical/clinical sessions, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical sessions
- Significant contribution to the profession, community
- Consultation with students
- Attendance at departmental and faculty meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Program
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing required
- Master Degree in Nursing required
- PhD in Nursing an Asset
- Registration in your Home Country Professional Registering Body is a must
- Qualifications in field of speciality required
- Excellent English Communications Skills and have an IELTS Score of 7 or higher
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at tiertiary level
- Must have minimum 3 years practical Nursing experience
- Vocational Training experience an asset
Monthly Salary Range:
TAX FREE Salary between AED 19,000 and 21,000 depending on Qualifications, Industry experience and Teaching experience
Housing:
Housing Allowance is included in the monthly Salary
First 29 days employee stays in a hotel suite while they look for accommodation
Health Insurance Coverage:
Cover is for UAE only with emergency worldwide (excluding Canada and USA). Includes dental and optical.
Annual Air Tickets:
Annual Return Airfare for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependents
Leave:
Leave is 30 working days per year plus all National holidays
Dependant School Fees:
- Tuition fees for up to 3 dependents as follows:
- 80,000 AED ($21,780.00) per family is payable (max of 40,000 AED) ($10,890.00) per child) to cover fees, books, exams, registration, uniform, transport. Eligible dependents must study in the UAE and are 5 years old or will attend KG1 at the beginning of the academic year. Children must be by birth or attested legal adoption and below 18 years.
Visa & Medical Check Fees:
Visa & Medical Fees are covered for employee only
End Of Service Benefit:
End of Service benefit of 1 month salary for each year worked as per Labour Law
Contract Period:
Open contract renewable yearly based on both parties being satisfied
