Teaching Jobs - DIRECTOR of Nursery Schools

Job Description:

  • To be responsible for the day to day operation of a Nursery School with 40 plus staff
  • Excellent communication skills are crucial.
  • Knowledge of the UK EYFS curriculum or Montessori Methods
  • An understanding of a "progressive" approach to learning and development is essential
  • Responsibilities will also include Health and Safety, Overseeing Curriculum Planning along with the Academic Manager, Report writing, staff training, meeting set targets and ensuring the nursery is well maintained
  • Help school in creating a vibrant learning community

Required Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Early Years Education or Cache Level 5
  • Excellent Leadership skills
  • Excellent English Communication skills (near Native English level)
  • Ability to speak Arabic or French an asset
  • Looking for maturity to deal with staff and parents
  • Passionate and Committed

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Nursery Management
  • Minimum 2 years relevant teaching experience in a Nursery School
  • Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment

Monthly Salary Range:

TAX FREE Monthly salary up to AED 30,000 ($6,000 USD) depending on qualifications and years of experience


Housing support provided for first 30 days in a furnished apartment, then employee must have own accommodation

Health Insurance Coverage:

Medical coverage for self and one dependent

Annual Air Tickets:

Annual Return air ticket for Employee Only


In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year.

Dependant School Fees:

Staff discount to employees for their children to be enrolled in the nurseries up to certain percentage:

  1. First year of service:        25% Discount on Tuition Fee
  2. Second year of service:  50% Discount on Tuition Fee
  3. Third year of service:      75% Discount on Tuition Fee
  4. Fourth year of service:    100% Discount on Tuition Fee

Visa & Medical Check Fees:

VISA fees and Medical check done in the country are paid for by the school for Employee only. Employee must pay for dependents visa costs.

End Of Service Benefit:

Receive 21 days basic salary for each full year of service. Plus economy air ticket to place of permanent residence according to Labour Law of the country

Contract Period:

1 year contract - renewable yearly

Paperwork Requirements:

Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements.
