Job Description:

An educational organization that focuses on teaching applied technology rather than academic subjects is looking for an Aviation Engineering Assistant Professor or SR Instructor. They offer a rigorous educational and training program for students. They aim to provide innovative teaching, learning and training environments for students wishing to engage in future TECHNICAL careers.

  • Faculty supervises junior instructors in the preparation and delivery of student centered theoretical and practical tasks
  • Conducts theoretical and practical sessions for Maintenance Certifying Technicians (MCT) and similar subjects related to Military Specialized Training and Foundation Courses related to Basic Practical Training
  • Carries out operational training for (MCT) Cat. B and subject related Military Specialized Training on subject related test equipment
  • Assist the Head of Programme in curriculum and syllabi evaluation and assists in drawing up schedules for theoretical lessons and practical training
  • Assists the HD in drawing up syllabi and curriculum for Military Specialized Training Courses and Foundation Training related to basic practical training
  • Advises and Supervises technical faculty instructors
  • Assist in evaluating all theoretical and practical training of faculty
  • Assist in drawing up suggestions for improvement

Technical Skills Required:

  • Aptitude for teaching
  • Ability to develop and deliver curriculum as per EASA/GCAA Cat. B. i.e., all related modules
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
  • Ability to develop practical tasks and conduct practical training on aircraft maintenance activities such as inspection, overhaul, repair, replacement, modification, and testing using appropriate and related test equipment
  • Ability to prepare/assess theory examinations and practical competence
  • Actively participate in the development, evaluation and updating of the curriculum
  • Ability to provide expertise and guidance in Aviation related Specialized Training courses
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior Instructors
  • Monitor students' progress continuously
  • Organize and carry out Aircraft Line Maintenance training
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups internally
  • Ability to work well in team teaching situations

  • Experience in working in a cross-cultural environment
  • Writing clear and concise technical procedures and reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Master Degree in Aviation Engineering/Technology
  • PhD degree preferred and/or internationally recognized equivalent
  • EASA/GCAA/FAA pt-66/147 license is preferred
  • Excellent English oral and written skills are essential. 
  • For non-native speakers IELTS level 7 must have been passed
  • Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5 years teaching experience

  • Minimum 5 years Industry experience in the Aviation field

• Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment

Monthly Salary Range:

TAX FREE Monthly Salary from 9,500 - 20,000 AED depending on qualifications, years of experience (Masters/PhD and Industry experience required for higher salary)


7,424 to 13,000 AED monthly depending on marital status, location and position

AED 20,000 Cash Relocation Allowance given at beginning of contract. Half upon arrival and half after 3 month probation period

Health Insurance Coverage:

Provided for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children

Annual Air Tickets:

Yearly Cash Allowance given based on home country location for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children

Relocation air tickets also provided at beginning and end of contract


In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year

Dependant School Fees:

Tuition fees for up to 3 dependents as follows: 80,000 AED per family is payable (max of 40,000 AED per child) to cover fees, books, exams, registration, uniform, transport


Visa & Medical Check Fees:

VISA fees and Medical check done in the country are paid for by the school for Employee only. Employee responsible for Visa costs for dependents

End Of Service Benefit:

Receive 21 days basic salary for each full year of service. Plus economy air ticket to place of permanent residence according to Labour Law of the country

Contract Period:

Open contract – renewable yearly

Paperwork Requirements:

Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates.  You will be advised of school requirements
