Job Description:
Objectives: Makes a significant contribution to all activities of the organizational unit or interdisciplinary area and plays a significant role within his/her profession or discipline.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures, seminars, and clinics according to the study plans in specific curriculum
- Supervise student laboratory and clinical work
- Evaluate and grade student class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and papers
- Keep abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences
- Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction
- Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics related to field of study
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and hand-outs
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions
- Supervise undergraduate or graduate teaching, internship, and research work
- Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records
- Advise students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues
- The conduct and supervision of tutorials, practical/clinical sessions, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical sessions
- Significant contribution to the profession, community
- Consultation with students
- Attendance at departmental and faculty meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Program
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy
- Master Degree in Physiotherapy
- PhD in Physiotherapy a must
- Registration in your Home Country Professional Registering Body is a must
- Qualifications in field of specialty required
- Excellent English Skills and could pass an Academic IELTS with a Band of 7
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at an accredited College or University in Faculty of Physiotherapy as an Assistant Professor
- Must have minimum 3 years practical Physiotherapy experience in the speciality fields required
- Demonstrated success working within a high performing Educational Institution
- Publications in reputable Medical Journals
Monthly Salary Range:
TAX FREE Monthly Salary Range between AED 13,600 and 15,404 depending on Qualifications, Teaching experience, Publications
Housing:
First 29 days employee stays in a hotel suite. Housing Allowance provided as follows for employee to find accommodation (Help will be given):
- 8,320 to 13,000 AED monthly depending on marital status, location and position
Health Insurance Coverage:
Coverage is for UAE only with emergency worldwide.
Annual Air Tickets:
Cash Allowance for Annual Return Airfare for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependents, depending on location of home country.
Plus AED 20,000 Cash Relocation Allowance given at beginning of contract. Half upon arrival and half after probation period
Leave:
Minimum 30 working days yearly, plus national holidays and term breaks
Dependant School Fees:
Tuition fees for up to 3 dependents as follows: 80,000 AED per family is payable (max of 40,000 AED per child) to cover fees, books, exams, registration, uniform, transport.
Eligible dependents must study in the UAE and are 5 years old or will attend KG1 at the beginning of the academic year. Children must be by birth or attested legal adoption and below 18 years
Visa & Medical Check Fees:
Residence Visa and Sponsorship fees covered by employer for employee only
Employee responsible for Visa Fees for dependents
End Of Service Benefit:
Return airfare to home country for all dependents, plus one month Basic Salary, for each year completed, paid at the end of service as per labour law of country
Contract Period:
Open Contract - renewable yearly

Paperwork Requirements:
Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements
