The school librarian works with both students and teachers at the Middle-High School grade levels to facilitate access to information in a wide variety of formats. Instruct students and teachers how to acquire, evaluate and use information and the technology needed in this process. Introduces children and young adults to literature and other resources to broaden their horizons. The school librarian develops, promotes and implements a program that will help prepare students to be effective users of ideas and information, a lifelong skill. Candidates must be experienced in working in a multi-media library.

The school relocated to a new, purpose built and thoughtfully designed state of the art building in 2017 and has grown considerably over the past few years rising to a target roll of 1400 students KG1 – G12.
The school will have two large libraries, a cafeteria and dining room, a large multi-purpose sports hall, full size swimming pool, auditorium, zoned playing and seated areas, dance and karate studio, fully equipped food technology room, multi-sensory room, performing arts studio, art room, design technology room, music room, science and robotics labs, full media suite and other specialist learning areas.
• Must have a Bachelor Degree in Library Science from a recognized University
• Preferable to have a TEACHING QUALIFICATION FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA and Scandinavian countries (Due to Visa Restrictions)
• Must have excellent English communications skills
• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues
• Minimum 3 years experience as a School Librarian for Middle-High School
• Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment
