Develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives specific for teaching Humanities subjects at middle-secondary grade levels. These subjects include English, History, Geography. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.
Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problems. Must also establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects. Distribute, collect and grade homework assignments, tests and projects and attend staff meetings
• Bachelor degree in Humanities (History, Geography, English) from a recognized university
• TEACHING QUALIFICATION HIGHLY PREFERRED FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA or Scandinavia
• Must have excellent English skills
• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in at least 2 of the Humanities Subjects at Secondary level
• Is culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment
Net Tax Free Monthly Salary up to $3500 USD depending on qualifications & years of experience
A housing Allowance is given depending on family size and teacher is responsible for finding own accommodation
OR for Single candidates: Furnished shared accommodation with other teachers where you have your own bedroom and bathroom and share the kitchen and living room space
Utilities paid, up to $82 for Single and $135 for married approximately
Covered for employee and one nominated dependent (can either be spouse or child)
Annual air tickets are covered for employee and one nominated dependent (can either be spouse or child)
In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year
100% discount for 1 dependent child attending same school as teacher
Residence Visa Fees will be paid for employee only. Employee is responsible for fees for dependents
Gratuity of 21 days of basic salary as per Qatar Labor law for each year worked paid at end of service contract
